Samsung single channel digital video recorder is designed to replace VCRs in
conventional CCTV systems or act as real time, thirty images per second
(60ips/50ips) DVRs in single camera installations. The single channel units by
Samsung range from very affordable to highly featured Digital Video Recorders.
The most economical units are simply VCR replacements providing the overwhelming
advantages of eliminating VHS tapes and tape libraries as well as the
possibility of human error of a conventional VCR. SHR-3010 allows high
flexibility for search, remote access, back up and many others functions.
SHR-3010 is a fully featured single channel DVR that can be used either in a
single channel installation for real time recording (60ips/50ips) or as a VCR
replacement in a conventional multiplexer installation. The inherent advantages
include remote access and control, an SCSI interface for additional external
storage or back up, and motion detection.
