Research and development takes place at our Hamamatsu and Chofu Factories where product development and testing is an ongoing process. Lens manufacturing, which includes polishing and grinding of some of the most difficult types of lenses in the world, takes place at our Gamagori Factory. The Kowa factories are devoted to producing the most innovative and cost-effective line of optical products in the world.
